Net Blocker Gel.
Better known as Loctite, Permatex Thread Locking Gel is designed for locking and sealing threaded fasteners that require normal disassembly with standard hand tools.
Product hardens when confined in the absence of air between tight fitting metal surfaces.
It protects threads from rust and corrosion and prevents loosening from shock and vibration.
Blue Net Blocker Gel is particularly suitable for applications on less active substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces, where disassembly is required for maintenance.
The Red Net Blocker Gel is used for a more intense service which requires better locking than the blue.
The strength of the blue gel for 6mm to 25mm bolts is approximately 115lbs.
The strength of the red gel for 10mm to 25mm bolts is approximately 175lbs.
